You’ve scorched the surface. Here’s the thing: if your wattage is off by even 5%, your temperature profile shifts. That’s when you start seeing those annoying uneven walls in your blown bottles. We keep the parameters a 1:1 match so you don’t have to deal with that headache. The guts of the lamp We use high-purity quartz glass because these things take a beating with rapid thermal cycling. Inside, there’s a halogen cycle that keeps the filament clean, which basically means the lamps last longer. But the real secret is the coating. We use a specific short-wave IR coating that pushes the energy right into the preform. It stops the heat from just bouncing off and wasting energy on your oven walls. And don’t worry about the install. The connectors have the exact same footprint as the ones you’re replacing. You just wire them up. No messing around with sockets or bending brackets. A quick heads-up on airflow There is one thing to keep in mind. Running a 2500W high-density tube puts a lot of pressure on your oven’s ventilation. These lamps are great for high-speed production, but they run hot. Make sure your cooling blowers are clean. If the airflow is choked, that heat builds up and can eat away at your sockets way faster than it should.
